Astrology is the study of the movement of planets and how it relates to everyone and everything on Earth. Astrology was originally considered a science, but it also is an intuitive art. Astrology is based on the relationship between the planets, luminaries (Sun and Moon), the 12 signs, and the 12 houses (areas of your personal life). The planets reflect or present the energies of a person such as their mental and emotional nature, desires, soul, will, consciousness, subconscious and the people in a person’s life. The signs represent how these energies are played out. The houses are known to explain what areas of life these energies will unfold. Astrology is about self-awareness. It defines our energetic relationship to the universe and those around us.

The Astrologer's Role

The astrologer’s purpose is to make people more aware of their soul’s potential and likely consequences of their own choices. Insight and intuition are needed to help a person understand and effectively deal with his or her life circumstances. An astrologer can describe your assignment but it is up to you to develop that potential in your own unique way. Interpreting your birth chart is just about facilitating dialogue between you and your chart.
