Saturn now in Capricorn....the key to becoming a better you
Saturn has shifted out of Sagittarius, where it has been since December 2014.
We desperately need Saturn out of Sagittarius, Saturn is not comfortable there. Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter which is pretty much the antithesis of Saturn. While Jupiter is all about exuberance, growth and expansion, Saturn is all about rules, contraction, learning to take responsibilities and becoming an adult. It will be important to think about the experience of Saturn in Sag from 2014 to now. That will give you some hints on what you should have learned. Here are some things that could have cropped up for you:
A focus on a ‘return to roots’ spirituality
New spiritual leadership or the emergence of new belief systems
An increase in philosophy or philosophic questions
A greater need for adventure and pushing the boundaries
A greater need to understand other cultures, traditions and wisdom
A focus on education, teaching and academics
A shift to more of global approach when looking at the world

The house Saturn was in will also be an important factor to take into consideration. But now Saturn is in Capricorn and both Capricorn and Saturn are structured, hardworking, diligent, persistent, resilient, and willing to do whatever it takes to achieve the next best version of themselves. It will be important that we realize that to navigate Saturn’s lessons we are going to have to step up to the plate and claim responsibility for our lives by ensuring that the actions we are taking are aligned with our beliefs and our truths in whatever area Saturn is in our chart. Saturn helps us to take our dreams and turn them into tangible realities. Saturn gives us the motivation to work hard and to get things done, and the more we can embrace and accept this energy, the more we can use it in a productive and thoughtful way.
By the end of the Saturn’s transit in 2020, a new, better you will emerge. But for this, you need to put in the work and be patient. It is a call to take on something formidable and defining. As if Saturn’s steely gaze fall’s directly upon us, we know that without a shadow of a doubt that it is time to step up our game, get in the ring and show up with all we’ve got.

Squares from Saturn can feel, at times, impossible as the options to take action can seem so limited. However, in the end, Saturn’s squeeze can force us to face and conquer what we would otherwise avoid altogether.
If you have planets or points between 0° – 11° of Capricorn Saturn will conjoin them at some point over the next year. A conjunction from Saturn reshapes us.
